John Dozier, colored, who was serv- ing a sixty-day sentence in jail, to- day was given his freedom by Police) Justice W. S. Snow as a Christmas] gift. Dozier had completed about] half of his sentence and he appeared today in court as complainant against another colored man, whom he sus- pected of stealing $5 from a truck of his while he languished in jail.
