It will be held in the New Willard ballroom January 3. The ballroom will be decorated with floral pieces and bunting in gay col- ors. Special ornamental designs al- ready are being arranged for the boxes, and a novelty program will prove one of the most interesting souvenirs of 1922. The patronesses include Mrs. Hard- ing and a number of ladies of the cabinet, while sixteen prominent men and women have already reserved boxes for the event. The ball committee is headed by Mrs. Jerome C. Hunsaker as chair- man, and Mrs. John L. Newbold as vice chairman, in charge of tickets. Mrs. Mathew De Laney is in charge of the boxes.
