N, and Mrs. Land will be welcomed by the large circle of friends made by them when Commander Land was sta- tioned here before. Mrs. Land, who ‘was formerly Miss Elizsabeth C. Btiles, has been in London with Commander Land, who Is assistant naval attache of the United States embassy there. He will be relieved by Commander Edward C. Haniner, ., NOow aide on the staff of the commander-in-chief of the Atlantic fleet, and will be sta- tioned in the bureau of construction and repair of thé Navy Department.
