In his own dull way he was v'ery much u_fraid that none of you would be able to solve all ten puzzles in this Name Series without considerable assistance on his part, and so from week to week he helped you by telling you the svolutian of at ln'st three of the very hardest. That was certainly very generous, but oh, what a sad mistake on his part! Last Sun- day he decided cn a new experiment, just to see what would happen, and the announcement was made that hereafter he would let you struggle with the whole ten for yourse\f. The hazard was made that the new departure ought to prove tremendously exciting. It has. It is ?he g_r_ea:est fun ever. At least everybody seems to think so, for the postman has begun to complain again that the letters to the Puz- zle Editor are climbing up to a pigger pile than ever before. Isn’t that jolly—for you—not for the post- man? Eut oh, what a sad time some of you did have with the new order of things! Of course, some of those pictures may seem to have more than one solution, but they haven’t. / And now, each of the ten pictures in this, the FOURTH SET in the FOURTH SERIES of the Sunday Call’s great puzzle contests, represents the name of an animal. Can you guess them? Try and see if you are successful—well, read the list below for the rich reward that will come to you.
