HIS DAYS NUMBERED, Local Attorneys Think the Supreme Court Will Make Short Work of Durrant’s Appeal. The prevailing opinion among local at- torneys is that the appeal of Theodore Durcant to the Supreme Court of the Urited States will be dismissed by that tribunal with very litile consideration, on the zround that itis frivolous. They de- clare that the question at issue has aiready | been decided a number of timee, and that, therefore, the only reason for taking it in this case was to gain time. The appeal was taken from an order of the United S District Court, denying the prisoner’'s apul.cation for a writ of habeas corpus. The application was made on the ground that he had been tried on information filed by the District Attorney and not en an indictment by the Grand for La Grippe, Coids, Influenza, Catarrh, Pains and Soreness in the Head and Chest, C.ugh, Sore Throat, General Prostration | and Fever. ?
