McArthur, the Democratic candidate for governor, is well known. McArthur was an appointee ‘|- of Governor Burke, and was Burke S campaign manager - in -two: campaigns. Burke, of course, is running on national issues BUT THIS DOES NOT PREVENT HIM FROM DOING ALL HE CAN QUIETLY AND IN HIS OWN EFFECTIVE WAY FOR McARTHUR.” The DEMOCRATIC SNEER at Frazier Further on in the same advertisement appears this vicious paragraph: “The Republican nominee for govemor, Mr Frazier, has lived in the state all his life, and has not, until now, en any interest in public affairs.
