We refer the esteemed Forum to the next legislature made up of farmers and suggest that the question be change'd to RASMUSSON BOOSTS FOR DAILY “Put me down as a subscriber for the Dakota Daily Leader,” said George N. Rasmusson of Dazey, owner of nine sections of North Dakota land and one of the most able and prosperous of Mr. Rasmusson mteuupted harvest work last week to come into town on district school business, sacrificing his own time and money in the interests of his community. “The crop failure this year is the worst blow the farmers in our vicinity have had in many years,” he said. farmers have seen what was coming and, in a way, became recon- ciled to hard luck. This year, with the abundant rains, prospects looked good for a fine harvest. Then, almost in a day, they saw their wheat go wih the heat and rust. “We need a new daily paper in this state badly. . The farmers are disgusted with the sheets they have been getting.
