An Assyrian American Independent Civic club will be organized tonight at a meeting of Assyrians at 7:30 o'clock in the Old Burritt school at the corner of Main and East Main streets. The club is the first of its kind to be started in New Britain. At the organization meeting, James E. O'Brien, director of Americaniza- tion, and William W. T. Squires, of the American Legion will be the speakers. Officers will be elected, committees chosen and plans made for fall acti- vities at tonight's gathering. TWO FRENCHMEN KILLED.
