EX-CONVICT HELD “INTEXTILE THEFT Accused by F. B. 1. of Moving $40,000 of Stolen Goods Between States. Entering a comparatively new field of crime inquiry, the Federal Bureau of Investigation today charged a no- torious Cleveland ex-convict with in- terstate transportation of $40,000 worth of woolen goods stolen last month in an armed robbery of the Yorkshire Worsted Mills, in Lenni, Pa. The former convict, Harry Kutler, was arrested in Cleveland yesterday by special agents of the F. B. 1. as he was driving a truck containing 57 bolts of the stolen cloth, it was stated today at the office of J. Edgar Hoover, director of the F. B. I. 200 More Bolts Found. In a simultaneous raid on a Cleve- fand “sponging factory,” ¥. B. I agents and police discovered nearly 200 additional bolts of the loot, it was stated. Mrs. Marquerite La Motte du Pont Lee, 73, member of the prominent Du Pont family of Delaware, who died Saturday in Homeopathic Hospital, was buried yesterday in Congressional Cemetery. Funeral services were held at the home of her son, Cazanove G. Lee, jr., 3542 Newark street. Mrs. Lee was the daughter of the late Eleuthere Irenee du Pont and the late Charlotte Shepard Hender- son du Pont. Her parents died when she was a child. For many years Mrs. Lee had lived at the Powhatan Hotel. Her death followed & week's illness.
