War- field Ross to Enter- tain Thursday. R. AND MRS. H. WARFIELD ROSS will entertain about 50 guests at a steak roast and outdoor party Thursday at their home, on Grosvenor lane, in Bethesda, in honor of their niece, Miss Margaret Berry. Dinner will be served around the outdoor fireplace in the pine grove back of the Ross home, after which the guests will spend the evening dancing. Guests at the party will be school friends of Miss Berry, who is a student at George Washington University. Mr. and Mrs. Ross were hosts to about 150 guests at a barbecue sup- per Saturday, October 17. Those at- tending the barbecue were members of Sigma Chi Fraternity, of which Mr. Ross is a member. Mr. and Mrs. Karl W. Corby of Bethesda and Mr. and Mrs. E. Taylor Chewning of Edgemoor spent Wednes- day in Ogontz, Pa, where they at- tended the dedication ceremonies in connection with the presentation of an organ, the gift of Mr. Corby to Ogontz School for Girls. Mr. Corby’s daughter, Miss Mary Ellen Corby, is a graduate of Ogontz School in the class of 1936 and Miss Virginia Chewning, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Chewning, entered the school Fall as a first-year student.
