Sunflower Lunch Today at Mayflower The sunflower luncheon arranged by the woman's division of the Landon- Knox Campaign Club at 1413 H street is being held today at the Mayflower. Mrs. Worthington Scranton of Penn- sylvcnia, vice chairman for the Eastern division of the Republican National Committee, is one of the speakers sharing honors with the former United States Ambassador to Chile, Mr. Willlam 8. Mrs. Harrison's aunt, Caroline Scott Harrison, who was the first Mrs. Benjamin Harrison and died in the White House, was the first president general of the N. 8. D. A. R. The widow of the former President was a frequent visitor at the White House during his administration and married him two years after the close of his administration. Mrs. Joseph Madison Carlisle is regent of the chapter and will preside at the luncheon.
