SOCIETY. Chevy Chase Residents Are Busy Many Luncheon and Bridge Parties Are Enjoyed—Mr. and Mrs. Fulton Re- turn From Son’s Wedding. R. AND MRS. WILLIAM LAWRENCE 'FULTON, ac- companied by Mr. and Mrs. Henry N. Bassett and Mr. and Mrs. Fulton's daughter, Miss Mary Alice Fulton, have returned from Charleston, S. C., where they attended the wedding of Mr. and Mrs. Fulton's son, Lieut. Robert Burwell Fulton, 2d, and Miss Laura Frances McCorley Baturday, October 3. Mrs. Bassett, who, until her marriage a year ago, was Miss Sarah Garland Fulton, was the bride's only attendant, while Lieut. Fulton had as his best man his classmate at the United States Naval Academy, Lieut. John C. Dewitt, jr. Immediately after the ceremony in Grace Episcopal Church the couple left for a trip to the mountains of North Carolina. Lieut. Fulton was a member of the class of 1932 at the Naval Academy and is attached to the U. S. S. Dickerson. The bride gradu- ated from the College of the City of Charleston, where she was a member of Delta Delta Delta Sorority. She is & niece of Col. and Mrs. E. D. Ellis of Washington. Mrs. Clara A. Hoak of Harrisburg is the guest of her son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. L. Paul ‘Winings. Mr. and Mrs. George W. Gedney of Montclair, N. J., are visiting their son- in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Edwin N. Baker, on Leland street. Mrs. Philip Gott will give a supper and bridge party tomorrow evening. Mr. and Mrs, E. S.
