HELP AND SITUATIONS. URBAN RELIEF CUT BY JOB INCREAS Acting Works Progress Adminis- strator Gives Data From 13 Cities. By the Assoclated Press. Corrington Gill, acting Works Prog- ress administrator, said yesterday a study of 13 cities showed an increase in the number of former urban relief cases now supported entirely by in- come from private employment. The reported increase covered the period from October 1, 1935, to August 1, this year. The study, Gill said, included changes in the source or - household income in 6,144 cases selected at random and showed the gain from October through March was from 137 to 17.1 per cent. The increase was more rapid the next four months, he said, bringing the percentage in July to 25.6 per cent. HELP—MEN ADVT.
