CHICAGO, September 18.—Motion pictures of nudists, Municipal Judge Samuel Trude ruled yesterday, are obscene. He rendered his decision after his court room had been converted into a movie theater and two reels of the film figuring in the litigation had been viewed by au audience of some 40 persons. ‘The pictures were taken in the Zoro Nature Park, near Roselawn, Ind., by Stephen P. The officials said indictments had been brought in various parts of the country against between 25 and 35 pseudo doctors who have been alleged- 1y using the mails to defraud. The persons indicted, not all of whom have been taken into custody, have been operating, according to the Post Office Department officials, in Massachusetts, Virginia, Texas, Okla- homa and Missouri. Several Methods Used. Several methods were employed by the alleged racketeers, but the com= monest, one official said, was to secure the addresses of persons suffering from eye ailments.
