The fine quality of these apples for eating, as well as all purposes in cooking, perhaps need no further comment. All three are Fall varie- ties and do not run late in the season, especial- ly this year, as apples, too, are far below the normal crop. The Smokehouse apple is prob- ably the one of the best known varieties for all-around purposes. Why not buy an original basket while available.
