Liquor Wholesalers. W. 8. Alexander, Federal alcohol ad- ministrator, announced yesterday that intermediate permits would be issued to sllow liquor wholesalers whose permit applications still are being studied to continue in business after July 1. Alexander explained that, because many applications are still “in process of investigation, hearing or consid- eration,” the administration will not be able to make final rulings before the July 1 deadline.
