2 ANNIVERSARIES /TOBE CELEBRATED Bishop’s Consecration in 1923 to Be Marked in Cathedral Rites. The twenty-eighth anniversary of the foundation stone laying in 1907 and the twelfth anniversary of Bishop James E. Freeman'’s consecration held in Epiphany Church in 1923 will be observed at services in Washington Cathedral tomorrow. Both of these significant events were held on the i Feast of St. Michael and All Angels, which falls on September 29, according to the church calendar. { Dr. William L. De Vries, canon and precentor of the Cathedral, will deliver the sermon at the people’s evensong . service to be held for the last time this season on the lawn at the foot of Peace Cross. Beginning next Sunday, this service will be transferred to the Bethlehem Chapel until the Great ‘Choir is reopened for public worship in November. The sermon at the celebration of the holy communion in the Bethlehem Chapel at 11 o'clock tomorrow will be delivered by Canon Raymond L. Wol- ven, chaplain to the Bishop of Wash- ington. Music appropriate to the double anniversary will be furnished by the Cathedral choir under the di- rection of Robert G. Barrow. Services for the day will begin with celebration of the holy communion at 7:30 o'clock in the Bethlehem Chapel.
