Such trading favorites as Electric Bond & Share, American Cynamid B, Hiram Walker, International Petro- leum and Wright Hargreaves, were narrow. BALTIMORE WHEAT RECEIPTS INCREASE Flour and Grain Exchange Re- ports 1,403,301 Bushels for Last Month. Bpecial Dispatch to The Star. BALTIMORE, September 7.—Re- ceipts of wheat on the' Flour and Grain Exchange last month totaled 1,403,301 bushels, compared with 980,462 bushels in August, 1934, with no exports, while for the eight-month period 2633464 bushels arrived, against 2,996,403 show which opens in Cleveland September 11. Although not a single salesman went out to sell space at the show—the first exhi- bition since 1929 — 240 exhibitors will display their wares. Fully 80 , per cent of that number rushed to reserve space as soon as the show was announced, making it neces- sary to draw lots for locations. Flour receipts both for the menth end eight-month period show declines with 41001 barrels, against 54,162 barrels in August, 1934, and 347,844 barrels to date, compared with 390,877 barrels up to the same period last year.
