Planning an intensive drive against section 213 of the economy act, which concerns the status of married women holding Government jobs, more than 100 women from Mary- | District of Columbia will gather for the Eastern regional conference of the National Woman's Party tomorrow and Sunday at the Dodge Hotel. Outstanding feminists will take part in the meeting. Among those Who will participate are: Mrs. Helen Hill Weed, rapporteur for the Intercon- tinental Committee on Ratification and Adherence to the Equality Treaty of Montevideo, who will speak on the work of the National Woman’s Party in South America; Miss Ella Riegal, Bryn Mawr, Pa, who has just re- turned from Geneva and will speak on the international work of the party; Miss Margaret Windsor, Over- brook, Pa., and Mrs. Harvey Wiley of THE EVENING STAR, WASHINGTON, D. C, presented Sunday afternoon at a luncheon meeting at 1 o'clogk. Registration in the morning, a luncheon meeting, an afternoon busi- ness session and a dinner at 7 o'clock will complete the program tomorrow. CULPEPER, Va., January 25.—More snow than the people of this section have seen for a long time fell here Wednesday. the storm almost reaching blizzard proportions at times and con- tinuing from early morning until dark. The snow is estimated to be about FRIDAY, 8 inches on the level. Telephone and electric light lines are down in many places, and the all-day snow was pre- ceded by a sleet, which encased every wire in ice. Trees have been broken down. Only the fact that the cold wave predicted for Tuesday, did not ma- terialize, saved this community from extreme suffering. The mercury was not much below the freezing point all yesterday. Magruder MacDonald today are seeking relatives of a 4l-year-old Itallan who died Wednesday in Emergency Hospital after a sudden heart attack at 1743 L street northwest. ‘The man was rushed to the hospital and remained unconscious for several hours, but rallied long enough to tell physicians his name was Joseph Vicodomini and that he was Italian. He died before giving names or ad- dresses of relatives, they said. The body is at the District Morgue. AIR WARNING ISSUED Naval Proving Ground Soft Now, Office Says. All airplane pilots are warned that the landing area at the Naval Prov-' ing Ground, Dahlgren, Va., is dan- | gerously soft except when frozen and is expected to remain that way dur- ing the greater part of the Winter, in & memorandum for aviators issued by the Navy Hydrographic Office. The Dahlgren field is used regularly by Reserve and regular pilots from the v Anacostia Naval Alr Station.
