MRS. IDA RICHARDSON DIES AT HOME HERE Wife of Head of Civic Federation Taught Several Years in Ele- mentary Schools. Mrs. Ida G. Righardson, wife of Dr. George H. Richardson, president of the Federation of Civic Associations, died yesterday at her residence, 309 Eleventh street northeast. Funeral services will be held tomorrow at 2 p.m. at Calvary P. E. Church, with burial in Lincoln Memorial Cometery. Born in the District, Mrs. Richard- son was a member of the first gradu- ating class of the old Chamberlain High School and later taught for sev- eral years in elementary schools. She was one_of the orginizers of the Asso- ciated Charities and established and named Camp Pleasant, the organi- zation's Summer recreation center. She founded and for many years was affiliated with the Stirling Relief As- scciation, en agency that distributed shoes to needy colored children. She was the first attendence officer in col- ored schools, being appointed to that position in 19€6. She retired in 1925. Survivirg besides her husband are two daughters, Mrs. F. Erma West and Mrs. Virginia R. McGuire of this city, and a son, Dr. George H. Richardson, jr, of Los Angeles. e Miss Clara Poyser, who has died in Bherwood.
