The annual pledging ceremonies of the chapter will take place this evening at the Kennedy-Warren, followed by supper. Six young ladies will be| pledged as future members of the sorority. Miss Flossie Tillotson, initia- tion chairman, is making arrangements Lambda Chi, National Sorority, held their annual closed dance at the Wash- ington Hotel, December 28. Those in charge of the arrangements included Miss Catherine Cook and Miss Helen Fry. Atrangements have also been made for a subscription dance to be held dur- ing early February at the Washington Hotel. The Washington Council of Tau Phi National Sorority gave its annual Christmas dance at Columbia Country Club, December 26, Representatives from scveral out-of- town chapters were present. Entertainment was given by Miss Linda Ann Smith of Alpha' Chapter, who sang several numbers, and Miss Giloria Davis of Zeta Chapter, who gave a tap dance.
