SOCIETY, Miss Volandt Of Lieut. R. F. Stearley E : Matrriage of Miss Helen Page Fader and Mr. Poulton Solemn Friday The marriage_of Miss Mildred Vol- andt to Lieut. Ralph F. Stearley, Air Corps, U. 8. A, took place yesterday at noon, the chaplain at Fort Myer, Capt. Ralph C. Deibert of Fort Myer, officiating, in the home of the bride's parents, Maj. Willlam F. Volandt, U, 8. A, and Mrs. Volandt. A wedding breakfast followed for the small company which witnessed the ceremony, and later Lieut. and Mrs, Stearley started for a short wedding trip. They are expected to return here for a few days before going to Lieut. Stearley’s post at Fort Creckett, Texas. ‘The marriage of Miss Helen Page Fader, daughter of Mr, and Mrs. Alex- ander G. Fader, to Mr. Willlam Edward Poulton, son of the late Mr. and Mrs. William E. Poulton, took place Friday noon in_the Pirst Reformed Church, | Rev. J. H. Buhrer, who also officiated at the wedding of the bridegroom's mother and father, performed the cere- mony. While guests were Mrs, Minnie E. Booth sang “O Promise Me” and ‘I Love You Truly,” accom- panied by Prof. Holer, organist. ‘The bride was escorted to the altar by her father and wore a gown of pbdwder blue satin, with a short jacket 0f the same material, trimmed in white fur, and a large velvet hat and shoes ©of .deeper chade. She carried a bouquet of pink roses and lilies of the valley. Mrs, W. Oliver Donohoe, sister of the bride, the only attendant, wore a gown of 2, with & short jacket of yeliow chiffon, a large velvet hat deeper shade and shoes to match.
