HAMILL DIES AT HOME HERE Retired Methodist Minister Served as Presiding Elder of Two Virginia Districts. Rev. Dr. Henry P. Hamill, a retired mipister of the Methodist Episcopal Church South, died yesterday at his home at 3517 New Hampghire avenue. Dr, Hamill, who was 78, was a son THE SUNDAY of the late Patrick and Isabella Hamill. In 1887 he married Miss Sarah O. Jones, daughter of the late William T. Jones of Montgomery County, Md. She died about four years ago. For mtnoenmrym Hamill was active in the mimistry, serving as pre- siding elder of the Alexandria and Win- chester districts. He also held pastor- ates in Keyser, Charles Town and Ma tinsburg, W. Va.; Staunton, Busns Vista_and Blacksburg, Va., and Rock- ville, Md. Dr. Hamill also was treasurer of Ran- dolph-Macon Training College, Lynch- burg, Va. and secretary-treasurer of the Christian education movement of his canference.
