Daugherty enter- tained a party at dinner last evening on the Shoreham terrace. ‘Their guests included Representative and Mrs. Adam Wyant, Representative william Hull and Mr. and Mrs. Walter Newton, who have recently arrived in ‘Washington, Mr, Newton being the new literary aide to President Hoover. In a sense the party was a bon voyage one for Mr. Hull, since he will sail for Europe on Friday. Mr. and Mrs. Ralph E. Bolling have .with them at Wardman Park Hotel their granddaughter, Miss Lola E. Boyd, who arrived in Washington yesterday from Panama.
