Being the only two Catholic hospitals in the Dis- trict, the joint commencements have been held in recent years in Gaston Hall at Georgetown College. Presents Classes. [ Rev. John L. Gipprich, 8. J., regent of the Georgetown Schoo's of Medicine and Dentistry, presented the two gradu- ating classes of nurses, while Dr. Wil- liam N. Cogan, dean of dentistry at Georgetown, presented the hygienists. ‘The latter also received diplomas from the Red Cross. President Nevils delivered the com- ‘mencement address, and brief talks also | were made by Dr. George Tully, Vaughan of Georgetown and Dr. J. Thomas Kelley of Providence Hos- pital.
