In an address before the Conduit Road Citizens’ Association last night, Commissioner Herbert B. Crosby ex- plained local traffic problems and urged co-operation with the Police Depart- ment in decreasing traffic accidents. Commissioner Crosby told of the dangers of double gnrkmz and predicted abolishment of this practice. W. A. Snell, president of the assoclation, in- troduced the Commissioner. Ask Paving. A motion offered by W. A. Roberts, asking that the cost of widening streets be defrayed from a general tax levy and gasoline taxes, was adopted. A revision of the present jury system was advocated. The associatien urged the continuance of the bus line which runs from Thirty-fifth street and Reservoir road to the District line. The District Commissioners were asked to aid in hastening street improvements throughout the Potomac Heights sec- tion.
