ROME, October 28.—Premier Musso- lini in exercises celebrating the eighth anniversary of the Fascists march on Rome pledged hi3 legions anew today to lead the nation in arms again if needed. ‘While 80 airplanes maneuvered over Rome the Duce, in full uniform of an honorary corporal of Fascist militia, addressed a large throng in the Piazza Di Siena, on the Pincian Hill. Mussolini spoke briefly, directing his talk mainly to wounded blackshirts, among whom were 40 blind. The day was observed as a meral business holiday, with public ildings, buses, trolleys, and the like decorated with bunting. All members of the Duce’s party turned out in black shirts with war and Fascist decorations. Premier Mussolini was the central figure in a march of veterans. Those in line included university students, trolleymen, militia and roman Fascisti. ‘The veterans proceeded down the Corso Umberto, central thoroughfare of the city, to Piazza Venetta, where. homage ‘was done the unknown soldier. ‘This evening the historic castle of St. Angelo will be outlined in a fireworks display.
