- SLANYOUTHS CAR ‘SEEN CRIME GAUSE Young Men Killed in Arkansas Swamp Known to Have Had Auto. By the Associated Press. MEMPHIS, Tenn., October 24— Police tonight established that Burton Hensley and Woodrow Wilson, North Carolina youths found burning and fatally beaten Wednesday in an Eastern Arkansas swamp, were in Memphis Tuesday afternoon driving an automo- bile with a North Carolina license. J. L. Taylor, operator of a parking lot, viewed the bodies of Hensley and Wilson last night and identified them as two boys who parked their automo- bile with him while they went to a res- taurant for lunch. Tayior described the car as a 1928 model coupe painted & Hensiey, Taylor said, told him they were on their way to EI Paso, Tex., and inquired the route to Little Rock, Ark. He said the boys said they planned to camp overnight en route to the Arkansas city. ‘Btablishment of the fact that the boys were traveling in an auto strength- ened a theory held by officials of Crit- tenden County, Ark. where the attack | occurred, that robbery and a desire for possession of their car motivated mz\ slayer or slayers.
