J., September 17 (#).— Eleven passengers in a street car were injured last night by a bolt of light- ning which struck the trolley pole and | entered the car. Several of the pas-| sengers were burned, while others were trampled in the rush for the exits. The only occupant to escape injury was Frank Deubel, motorman, who “saw the bolt sizzling down the tracks.” He put on air brakes, opened the emergency door and jumped to the street. The car coasted a half’ block before stopping.
