Mrs. Marie Helene Schirr, 68 years of age, died at the residence of her daughter, Mrs. Germaine Goettelmann, 3219 Seventh street northeast, late yes- terday, atter an iliness of two years. Mrs. Schirr was a native of Alsace, and came to this country 20 years ago. She was the widow of a French army officer, and during her early life tray- eled a great deal. includirg sojourns in Russia and in the French colonies in Northern Africa. She is survived by her daughter, Mrs. Gettelmann, with whom she made her home; a son, Paul Schirr of Bordeaux, France; a brother, Marcel Schleber of Selestat, Bas-Rhin, France, and a grandson, Paul A. Goet- telmann of this city. Requiem mass will be said tomorrow morning at St. Anthony's Church, Brookland, at 9 o'clock.
