BERLIN, May 8. — Elizabeth Rethberg, prima donna of the Metropolitan Opera Co., New York, yesterday was saved from arrest by an attack of tonsilitis. Mme. Rethberg, who, after singing in a concert, was taken ill, was served with a default summons in behalf of Franz Aufrecht, concert nanager, re- quiring immediate payment of his commission. Mme.
