B-12° COAST ARTILLERY TOBE REORGANIZED Anti-Aircraft Efficiency to Be Sought Under New Train- ing System. Wide reorganization of the whole Coast Artillery Corps of the Army has been decided upon, and yesterday the War Department announced the first step in this program, which contem- plates added efficiency in anti-aircraft and coast gun training with reference to National Guard and Organized Re- serves forces. Five seacoast defense posts will be operated at full strength, while 18 units on a skeleton basis since the termina- tion of the World War will be turnea over to caretakers under the economy program. Inauguration of the first of four new anti-aircraft units has been started at the Aberdeen Proving Grounds at Aberdeen, Md. Eventually this regiment is to be stationed at Fort Crockett, Tex., and the three others are to be at Fort Totten, N. Y.; Fort McArthur, Calif., and Fort Sheridan, Ills. all selected because of their accessibility for train- ing the many Coast Artillery units of ' THE Hrecar Co. “F Street at Seventh” At Exaectly The Nationally Famous ok EXERCISER REDUCER 0ld Country Caste Tradition Beaten By Divorce Judge By the Associated Press. CHICAGO, February 14.—The case of Marija Smajo vs. Peter Smajo, divorce, goes back to Croatia, to the “high” country and the “low” country and caste superiority. Judge Lewis could find no apparent reason for a divorce, especially when the couple agreed they loved each other. It devel- oped Marija, after 18 years of happy marriage, was willing to sacrifice love for social tradition. Judge Lewis reconciled them by pointing out there was no high and low in this country, except in some card games. the National Guard scattered through the interior. The five seacoast defense posts which are to be operated at full strength are forts on Long Island Sound, Chesapeake Bay, Pensacola, Fla.; San Francisco and Puget Sound, Wash. These also were selected because of their accessibility for training of re- serves. At the same time the War Department has required that all Coast | Artillery units become proficient in the use of anti-aircraft batteries, explaining that anti-aircraft artillery has lagged far behind the expansion of the Air | Corps under the five-year program.
