Barbara Mitchell, 6 years old, of 204 IMershall avenue, Cot- tage City, Md,, is in Casualty Hospitall today suffering from severe injuries to| her head and legs. Hospital author-| ities say her condition is slightly im-| proved. Police report the truck was operated by R. E. Miles of 4416 Ord street north- east. Maxine Edwards, colored, 9 years old, of 49 L street was the victim of a hit- and-run traific accident in front of 1020 North Capitol sireet late yesterday aft- ernoon, police reported. The child, not sericusly hurt, was treated at Sibley Hospital for an injury to her forehead. James McGlynn, 21 years old, of 108 Ficld place, New York City, was knocked | down near Thirteenth and F streets| early last night by a street car and injured. He received brush burns to| his arms and legs and a cut over his eye. McGlynn was given first aid at ‘Emergency Hospital by Dr. J. E. Lewis. Lloyd Watts, colored, 7 years old, 1115 Rhode Island avenue, was knocked down near Twelfth and Q streets early last evening by an automobile driven by Charles Butler, 1524 Twelfth street, and his right ear lacerated.
