By the Associated Press. LOS ANGELES, December 17.—Juan Ramos yesterday pleaded guilty to !he embezzlement of Ippmxhnluly $50,- 000 from the United States Bank of Los Angeles. He will be sen- tenced January 6 in Federal Court. Ramos, prominent in the political and military life of Mexico, and at one time Mexican Ambassador to England, was manager of the Latin American division of the bank. He fled the country following the em- bezzlement, and was located by Gov- ernment agents in Amsterdam. He was reported to have declared there that he had used the money to promote a Mexi- can revolution, and resisted efforts to return him here on the contention that his offense was a political one. ———e i Relics Found by Laborer.
