SOCIETY will be the honor guest at a dance this evening of Mr. and Mrs. W. Preston Gibson and their daughter, Miss Betty Gibson. Mrs. James Alexander Lyon enter- tained at luncheon today in honor of Miss Katherine Berry, debutante daugh- ter of Mrs. Georgia Knox Berry. The table had Japanese decorations and there were Japanese favors for the guests, who numbered 12. The Assistant Secietary of the Navy and Mrs. Ernest Lee Jahncke will re- celve in honor of the officers and ladies of the Navy Thursday afternoon, De- cember 19, from 4 to 7 o'clock at the Mayfiower Hotel. Miss Margaret J.
