GEORGE MAY SEEK REST AT RIVIERA ng May Spend Several Months There or Cruising in Sunny Waters. By the Associated Press. SANDRINGHAM, England, Novem- ber 14.—There seems every likelihood | that King George and Queen Mary will spend several months of the coming ‘Winter either on the Riviera or crulsing in $unny waters, but & final decision has not been made. Sandringham, although ideal in Sum- mer and early Autumn, is considered t00 exposed to the winds from the North Sea in the Winter. As for Windsor vastle, it is felt that the surrounding iow-lying district and the river mists would be bad for the King after his long illness. ‘Would Not Use Own Yacht. It has been officially stated that King will not commission his own yacht, the Victoria and Albert. Several more ‘modern craft have been placed at his disposal and the Duke of Connaught has ofiered his house at Cap Ferrat for | the W.nter. Four months ago, when the King re- turned from Bognor to Windsor, his doctors strongly advised him to spend the Winter abroad and it is understood +hat preliminary arrangements were fnade to the extent of correspondence with one or two owners of famous chateaux in the Alpes Maritimes. t the King has always been re- luctayt to go abroad. There is Snip, a little] Cairn terrier, which waits every day about noon for his royal master in the park on the west side of York Cottage. Then he hears a footstep and bounhds up the steps with a joyous bark. King Looks Happy. The mng looks happy, almost de- bonaif, in his gray lounge sult with a carnation in his buttonhole.
