William Scott Parks, 74 years old, lawyer and for many years pro. :inent in patriotic and fraternal organizations in this city, died at his home, 1830 I street, yesterday afternoon following a ltl\nl1 ‘iliness. Death was due to par- alysis, Mr, Parks wu past secretary general and past re §istrar general of the Na- tional Society of Sons of the American Revolution, serving in the former posi- tion in 1919 and m the latter in lfll and 1922. H as & past rnnldent of the District of Cclumhll Soclety Sons of the American Revolution, in 1918 and 1919, and had served as a member of its board of management for the past 10 years. He was a member of the Sons of the Revolution in the Dis- trict_of Columbia and served as its historian in 1921 and 1922, and a mem- ber of the Society of Colonial Wars, serving for & number of years as & member of its board of governors.
