A campaign sgainst mental diseases, fashioned after the fight on tubercu- losis of the past 20 years, yesterday was | urged by Dr. Percy D. Hickling, District allenist, at a meeting of the Washington Society for Mental Hygiene. Scouting the theory that Insanity is hereditary, Dr. Hickling expressed the | view that a proper preventive educa- | tional campaign would decrease greatly the number of mental patients through | special attention to those who might be | considered weak.
