Evenl‘ 0{ Impof(ln” in ROCKVILLE, Md., April 6.—Of more than ordinary interest to Maryland and Washington was the marriage Tuesday of Mrs. Agnes Anderson, formerly of Mount Airy, Md., and Maj. Geoige Mackubin Thomas of Rockviile, which took place at the home of the bride's son-in-law and daughter, Dr. and Mrs. Robinette B. Hayes, in Hillsboro, N. C. The ceremony was performed by the rector of Christ Episcopal Church, Hillsboro. assisted by the Right Rn\'.t Joseph B. Chesire, Bishop of Narth | Carolina, a connection by marriage of | the bridegroom. Immediately afterward | Maj. and Mrs. Thomas departed for a | short stay in the South. They will make | their home in Rockville. 1 Maj. Thomas, who is a native and | former long-time resident of Southern Maryland, was for 24 years principal of | Charlotte Hall Military Academy and | was later principal of the Rockville Academy for several years.
