The only program to be drawn from the Colum- bia system will be one presented in New York by the Morris Wiesen Benevolent Society. “Flashes from The Evening Star,” a new daily review of the news of the world introduced by WMAL on Monday, will be one of the early features. It will be followed by a dance program by the Cotton Pickers’ Orchestra. WMAL'S other attractions include a concert by the Minster String Ensem- ble, and a joint recital by Rose Maxwell Dickey, violinist, and Victorine Bouillon, pianist. A studio party by the staff of WOL is the outstanding feature of this sta- tion's evening program. Peggy Clarke, studio manager, will be in charge. “Bobby” Howard and other talented members of the staff will take part.
