BALTIMORE, January 31.— ‘Whales have been reported at the mouth of Chesapeake Bay near Cape Henry. Several large schools have been noted by observers on ocean craft arriving here the past few days. Fishing craft operating off the capes are not equipped for whal- ing, and few persons familiar with the waters there have ever seen whales in that vicinity. Members_of the crew of the steamship Beatrice, which docked here Sunday, reported the spout- ing of the whales sent a spray on_the deck. The big mammals seemed to have no fear of vessels passing in and out of the capes. They were driven down from the north by hunger, it is believed, and have apparently found good feeding waters. committee nppolnb | rt, Sigmund, || | “"50c Large Size .95 10:$8.98 Girls’ Crepe de Chme Crepe de Chine Dresses.
