Y., announced here yesterday that he and his associates planned to renew their appiication for per- mission to construct an international bridge across the St. Lawrence river. The private bills committee of the House of Commons, at the last ses- siono, refused the application for a charter after the department of rail- ways and canals announced it was ‘the intention of the Canadian govern- ment to construct a bridge across the Tiver near the Great Lakes terminal. The proposed Freeman Bridge would cross from a point near Alexandria Bay, N. Y., to Rockport, Ontario, mak- ing use of islands in the river. Armistice Day at Arlington Shrine By the Associated Press. Active and Reserve chaplains of the Army who participated in the relig- fous ceremonies at the interment of the Unknown Soldier in Arlington Cemetery in 1921 will gather again at the tomb Armistice day to re- new memories of the day and deco- rate the grave. The chaplains in the sroup include Col. John T. Axton, chief chaplain of the Army; Bishop Charles H. Brent of New York, Dr. Morris S. Lazaron rabbi of Baltimore, and Chaplain John B. Frazier, director of chaplins affairs of the Navy. The ceremonies will include deco- ration of the Chaplains’ Cenotaph in the cemetery, erected in memory of the 23 chaplains who lost their lives in the World War. . Mme. Borodin Reaches Moscow.
