CINCINNATI, October 17.—George Remus was prepared to present in court today affidavits setting forth depositions he desires to obtain as evidence, to be used in the fight for his life for the shooting to death of his wife, Imogene Holmes Remus, Oc- tober 6. Judge Chester R. Shook of the Criminal Court Saturday set the trial of the former bootleg king for No- vember 14, and ruled that Remus’ affidavits must describe what each of the depositions intended to prove. He ruled that they must show that attempts were made upon the life of Remus, and said he would not per- mit depositions which Remus alleged would tend to show “improper rela- tions” between Mrs. Remus and Franklin L. Dodge, jr., former prohi bition agent. Do For Mourning In 24 Hours Carmack Dry Cleaning&Dyeing Co. Line. 1810 Linc IKL2 Perry & Walsh Morticians Private Ambulances 29 H St. NW.
