David F. Skillman, 82, Confederat: veteran, died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Lula B. Jennings, 837 Shepherd street, last night at 8:30 o'clock. He had been {ll about three years. Born in Loudoun County, Va., Mr. Skillman enlisted in the Confederate Army while just A& boy and served Auring the Civil War with Mosby's Raiders, being the youngest man in the brigade. He has resided in Wash- ington for the past 25 years, having conducted an express business here until his retirement about 15 years ago. He is survived by his widow, who was Mise Elizaheth D. Skillman, his first cousin. of Leudoun County, and three daughters, Mrs. Jennings, Mre. Alice Snelling and Mrs. Rosie Me. Keown, all of Washington.
