Alse, if residents would have important business mail deliv ered to their offices rather than to their homes, it would save time and unnecessary complaint.” The announcement stated that the |@ postmaster receives large numbers of letters from patrons complaining that the first delivery of mail does not reach them until after 9 o'clock in the morning. “It is quite impossible,” said the postmaster, “to deliver all the mail before that hour. Those living at the end of the mailmen’s routes will nat- urally get their mall later than those living at the beginning. WOMEN HEAR CANON. Right Rev. Philip M. Rhinelander Speaks on Crusade. The importance of continuing the work of the “Bishops’ Crusade,” inau- gurated last week with special ad- dresses in the Episcopal churches, was emphasized yesterday afternoon by Right Rev. thg M. Rhinelander, for merly Bishop of Pennsylvania and now a canon of the National Cathedral, speaking informally at the monthly meeting of the Woman’s Auxiliary of the Diocese of Washington. The St. Andrew’s Auxiliary was the hostess chapter, and the meeting was held at the parish hall of the church. Canon Rhinelander reiterated the purposes of the crusade—to reawaken and reconsecrated the whole church— and mentioned the part individuals may pl%\n making the crusade ef- fective. The work of the crusade must be carried on in an intensive fashion within the various dioceses of the chureh, he lained. . J.
