The debutante was in a dainty gown designed along period lines, with a closefitting bodice and a bouffant skirt with an uneven hemline faced with cloth of silver. The bodice was made with an Elizabethan collar held by a shower of lilies of the valley and streamers of ribbon. The boxes were well filled, and there was much visit- ing and chatting, giving an informal atmosphere to the party, which was one of the most successful glven for this worthy cause.
