SOCIETY ‘The President and Mrs. Coolidge Honor Guests at Dinner of Secretary and Mrs. Kellogg HE Secretary of State and Mrs. Kellogg entertained dinner last evening in honor of the President and Mrs. Coolidge. The other were Gen. John J. Per: Mrs. Henry White, Mr John W. Garrett, Prin zene, Mr. and Mrs. Will of Indianapolis and ) Silas Hardy Strawn of Chicago. Governor of Minnesota and Theodore Christianson were exp: ed to attend the dinner, but at the last minute were compelled to send thelr regrets owing to the governor's illness. Mrs. Wilbur, wife of the Secre- tary of the vy, was the honor guest at luncheon today of Mrs James T. Morris, who entertained the Mayflower Hotel following Mrs. Townsend's morning musical. Mis. Davids of Seattle, Wash., who is the house guest of Mrs. Claude Swanson, was among the other guests. The Secretary of the Interior, Dr. FHubert Work, will be the guest honor at dinner this evening of M and Mrs. Parker W. West, who entertain a company of 16. Mme. Sze Shared Honors at Lunch Today With Mrs. Bingham. Mme. Sze, wife of the Minister of China, and Mrs. Hiram Bingham, wife of Senatdr Bingham of Connecti- cut, shared honors at the luncheon today of Mrs. George C. Thorpe.
