C. Baggarly pre- siding, arrangements were made for the opening of the social season of the soclety, with a Thanksgiving Ball to be held in the large ball room of the Willard Hotel tomorrow evening, com- mencing at 9 o'clock. Twelve women sponsors of the soclety under the d¥ rection of Miss Myrtle Katchem, queen of sponsers, will present the soclety’s large membership and guests to newly elected officers of the soclety and thelr wives, recelving will be headed by Mr. F. C. Baggarly, presi- dent, and Mrs. Baggarly; Dr. Henry T. Miller, first vice president, and Mrs. Miller; Mr. J.
