Mrs. Beach is well known as a pianist and as a composer of works that are given on concert programs all over the world. Although she has appeared here a number of times on general programs, this will be her first formal recital in Washington Mary Howe (known in private life as Mrs Walter Bruce Howe, and a brilliant pianist of this city) will play a new two-plano composition by Mrs. Beach with the composer. Charles Wakefleld Cadman, writer of adaptations of American Indian | music, and the Indian meezo-soprano, | Princess Tsianina, will give the sec- { ond program March 21. Bruno Huhn | composer of many popular ballads, of which “Invictus” is probably the best known, will give the third and final program April 4. Mrs. Edward H.
