Accompanied by an indignant wife, Bethesda, Md., authorities early today appeared at the home of Miss| Freida Ramsey, 112 West Virginia street, Chevy Chase, and arrested Miss Ramsey and Granville T. Brad- ford on statutory charges. The raid was conducted by Judge Upton Perrell and Officer E. V. Cay- wood of Bethesda at the instigation of Bradford's wife, who had just re turned to Washington from her home in Kentucky and found her husband missing from thelr home at 1822 Sixteenth street. Bradford and Miss Ramsey were released on $250 bond each follow- ing the arrest. They will be tried Saturday morning. Mr. Bradford today filed a petition in voluntary bankruptcy.
